This spacious 900 SF ground-floor level apartment is in a historic Washington townhome. It features high 9' ceilings, recessed lighting, exposed brick, good natural light, and a large open sitting room and kitchen, which gives it a spacious light feeling. All new floors, an open full Bosch kitchen with counter seating, and a bath with an exposed brick walk-in shower round out the thoughtful details in making this a comfortable and desirable retreat.
The bedroom has a queen bed and, a large closet, and the living room has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa. The full bath is off the hallway and also has a direct door to the bedroom.
This lovely apartment is on Gallery Row (R Street between Connecticut and 21st Street), a stone's throw from The Phillips Collection, a fabulous private art museum. and home to interesting restaurants, cafes, bistros, shops, galleries, museums jazz clubs, and parks.
A local Market is close by, there are ample cuisine choices on the block and very nearby. A unique grocery store is just 4 blocks away on 14th St.

Summary: Excellent recently re-done apartment in Dupont Circle area of DC. Great location in nice neighborhood. The apartment had all the amenities we needed for a great week stay in DC. Close to lots of great restaurants and not far from the major sites to see. We would stay there again in a heartbeat
