Summary: We enjoy staying at Bishop's Landing for a quick family trip to the beach. I would give this unit a solid 8/10. While there isn't a grill area for this unit, one of the perks is a screened in porch that backs up to a corn field, giving you a sense of privacy. We had plenty of emails and texts of communication leading up to our arrival and into the first day of arrival. Yet, we were never told upfront of some extensive water leak that had previously happened and therefore, the ceiling drywall was still under construction when we arrived. We ignored it and were able to enjoy our stay without interuption. Something that did interupt our stay was a lack of washcloths. When I text back to ask about this on the second day I was told the cleaning lady took them home to wash. Then I was told the cleaning lady said she left plenty there. I wasn't at the house immediately, (because, well...on vacation) but a few hours later, upon arrival, I immediately text pictures to prove...nope. Ruth apologized and said she would overnight them. We waited the entire next day, but no washclothes, nor a follow-up text (which was weird because the communication before was constant). Turns out they arrived our 4th full day at 6:30pm. While these are not terrible, it is also not the quality I am used to when staying in the Bishop's Landing rentals.
