Summary: House is beautiful and exactly as listed. Jane was easy to communicate with and is a great host. The location of the home and area was not what we were expecting from the listing and the price of the rental for the weekend. If we hadn’t been traveling with husbands would not have felt safe to stay there alone. Home behind the deck area has many broken windows and a shower curtain up across one. Had to move one of the cars and park at a local mall because of some kids who were taking interest in it. The local uber driver who picked us up to go to Sea Hear Now said “I didn’t think they let people rent their homes in this area.” To be clear: It’s a beautiful home inside. Would just urge people to explore the directly adjacent streets so they can make an informed decision based on who they are traveling with and the reason for their stay. Have been renting on VRBO for decades and this one threw me for a loop.
