This executive suite has been styled to be a gallery for the visual arts and many of the pieces are for sale. All appliances are brand new. This suite is minutes from hundreds of mountain bike trails or easy walks along the rails to trails. Enjoy a Bbq dinner while relaxing outside in Adirondack chairs or at the Bistro table.
Diane, the owner lives above the suite and is a ceramic artist and potter. She has a beautiful ceramic studio in her backyard where she teaches workshops on the wheel and hand- building/sculpture. She is a memer of an International Artisan's at Work' Network and has a self guided tour to the studio, along with an outdoor galkery currently selling her Emergence line.

Summary: The gallery suite was beautiful, just as described. The host lives on site, above the unit and runs her business on the property. House is located roughly a mile from downtown, but high up on the hill overlooking town. Gorgeous views of Kootenay Lake. Our only issue, which was just a personal preference - the bed was very soft with a pillow top. I know some love a soft mattress, but my husband and I woke up daily with sore backs. Other than that, things were perfect. Love Nelson so much!
