Summary: On the positive: this is a very clean, well cared for former mansion that is conveniently located on a major Detroit street. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, with dressers, a television, and a omfortable sitting area with a loveseat and chair. The bathroom was clean. As a guest, I would have appreciated several features and conveniences: A coffee maker in the room or printed information about Access to coffee in the main floor lobby in the morning. Some print information with information about connecting to the internet; a brochure or literature from the Detroit Visitors’ Bureau; and a list of nearby restaurants. As a customer, I would expect: A grab bar in the shower/tub Hot water in the shower; over three days it never was more than lukewarm Hot and cold water faucet handles that allowed more than a dribble of water in the shower and in the sink At least four bath towels rather than two A bar of soap larger than only the two postage-stamp pats of soap provided, one in the shower and one at the sink A plastic cup (or two) in the bathroom
