Sunset Island 3A is a luxury bayside condominium located in a gated community. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo has a furnished balcony with a breathtaking view of the canal and marshes.
The entire unit is decorated like a beach paradise, palm trees and beach tones accenting every room. The spacious living room is furnished with a new sofa and love seat, fireplace, and flat screen television. The sliding balcony doors allow plenty of natural light to brighten the space. Right off the living room is an elegant dining area, spacious enough for the whole family to enjoy meals together. Next to the dining area is the fully-stocked kitchen with a center island, just right for grabbing a quick bite. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, television, a private full-size bathroom and access to the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a fun, pink color scheme. The third bedroom has two twin beds with trundle beds underneath, great for kids. The second full bathroom is located in the hallway. Summary: Sunset Island was great. The pools and fitness center were closed our first 2 days there and the interactive fountain never was on but there was still plenty to do. Security was a good added touch we appreciated. Our place was spacious and fairly quiet when we were indoors. It was not clean by standards you’d expect upon checking in and every closet had a mess in it. I expected more for the price paid to stay for the week especially with having to bring all of your own linens and towels. I don’t think clean floors, mats, dusting and room to put your belongings in the closets would be too much to ask for. None of it upset our vacation but the reasons I listed did affect my overall ratings. The island itself was very clean with caretakers out every morning blowing debris from walkways and combing the sand at the beach areas.
