Summary: We had a very nice stay. There are always pros and cons. PROS: you have a beautiful view of the lake with geese. You can see the pool from the house and walk to it. The house was perfect in size. The movie room upstairs was nice and so was the pool table in the garage turned game room. The master bedroom and 1st bedroom beds were very comfortable. Don’t have to worry about running out of hot water with 4 people showering one after another. It was a very quiet, peaceful place. Check in was easy. Lots of closet space. Game room and 3rd kids bedroom each have a chalk wall which was fun. The kids enjoyed the record player with albums. Plenty of stores and fast food close. The pool was very nice, never crowded. CONS: the hot tub was dirty & after putting a bag of shock in, it kept turning off and not working well. The grass was very tall, in need of mowing, shrubs by the entry need a hair cut too. There were a lot of minor things that needed attention such as light bulbs, loose things, lack of utensils, etc. it needs a good deep cleaning for sure! The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds that are very uncomfortable. Thin mattresses. There are not enough blankets. It has one thin throw type cover for the first 2 bedrooms. One closet in master bath was concrete floor and the other needed new carpet. We saw ants inside and out. But not bad. Just need to be sprayed as they are out due to the weather. The washing machine doesn’t spin out. We had do put in on spin 2 times. The mini blinds ALL need replacing. The 2nd bedroom has a gap that is visible when in bed. It could use a curtain or bigger blinds. There is not a clock anywhere. It would be nice to have one. Trash can is very tiny! The lamps are very small not much light. There is a teeny sized 4 drawer chest that’s very small. It wouldn’t hold our clothes. We never found a pool pass but we did get to use the pool thanks to a resident. The coffee pot was cracked. We realized it after all the coffee came out. He said he would bring a new one. But instead there was a dirty one that didn’t fit, left for us. If you plan to cook bring your own things. Not much there. We were able to overlook the CONS because we had already paid to stay there and found that the pros made up for a lot. I would stay there again, but would hope the cons would be given attention to. We were there June 19-23, 2022
