This spacious home is ready to host your family and friends on a memorable vacation. The main floor includes the master bedroom and bath, two additional bedrooms and baths. The living and dining room look out to the back deck. Finally, there is a family room, kitchen and laundry. Downstairs is a game room, full bath and large bunk room that sleeps 5.
Set on 5 acres, there is plenty of room to spread out and play games both inside & out, watch tv, or gaze out the floor to ceiling windows to the serene forest. The home is equipped to help you host your family reunion, intimate wedding or anniversary celebration. (Permission and additional fees apply.)
Hiking trails are nearby and with easy access to Lake Nighthorse, outdoor activities including a water play area, kayak rentals, boating and fishing options are abundant. Downtown Durango is 7 miles away, with shopping, restaurants and access to rafting, fly fishing, skiing and, of course, the Durango Narrow Gauge Train.
Some of the photos are a few years old, we are frequently upgrading furniture and remodeling some spaces. Planned for Summer 2025, a bunk bed added to the downstairs bedroom, a pool/ping pong table, dumb bells to the game room and Mountain bicycles for your use.

Summary: Just wonderful. The pond provided hours of wildlife, turkeys, deer even a fox. Home was spacious and kitchen well stocked. We will stay there again if opportunity arises!
