You will have complete access and privacy in this tastefully appointed, colorfully furnished mid-nineteen century cape. Terrific curb appeal, three entrances and plenty of cozy spaces give you a sense of small town living in this artistic little river town. The living room is Very comfortable with the friendliest couch you’ve ever met, a 60” television and plenty of entertainment options. A second television is in the small bedroom upstairs. The traditional dining room is welcoming and convenient to the modern, well equipped kitchen. Appliances are top quality Sub-zero, Viking, Thermador and Bosch. Relax on the front porch, surrounded by plants and shaded by the maple out front with a view of quiet Kirk St. and the Housatonic river valley beyond. The office has a desk and bookshelves, several tables and a home gym that can be removed for the time of your rental if you prefer. Upstairs are four bedrooms furnished with antiques and large, exceptionally comfortable beds. There is plenty of light, storage and privacy. Summary: Our family group of 6, ages 6-71, greatly enjoyed staying at this comfortable and spacious older home in Housatonic. There was space for everyone, with quiet getaway nooks to spare (large enclosed front porch, separate family room with 60 inch (I think) TV, fenced L-shaped backyard, semi-enclosed hot tub patio area. The kitchen was large and very well-equipped. Bedrooms were quiet. It was also very well-situated, close to Kripalu where we took turns with day passes, the Berkshire Mountain Bakery (went there twice!), Naumkeag, and much more. We had a circuit breaker trip because someone had reconfigured the plugs—easily rectified. Seth was very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
