Positive: Full of History and Heart! I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews! The hotel is right on the beachfront — of course, it’s by the ocean, so you might expect some sand, but we didn’t see any! The entire place was spotless. Our room had freshly mopped floors that even smelled of disinfectant — not just wiped for show — no dust anywhere, plenty of clean towels, and beautiful linens. The building dates back to 1931, but it’s in excellent condition and full of character. Staying here feels like being in a small museum filled with history and charm. Everything is done with love and attention to detail, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel truly welcome. Can’t wait to come back!
